Glass fibre rod Ø 6 mm
Precise inspection of small and hard-to-reach air ducts
The 25-metre-long, 6-mm-diameter fibre-optic rod has been specially developed for inspecting small air ducts. It enables camera systems to be guided safely and facilitates a reliable visual inspection even in hard-to-reach areas of the ductwork. You can cover long inspection distances and gain a direct insight into the condition of the air duct. This enables contamination, damage and anomalies to be detected at an early stage.
When used in combination with a Drop Cam, the fibre-optic rod is suitable for air ducts with a diameter of 200 mm or more. Its flexible yet robust design ensures precise guidance of the camera, even in complex duct layouts. With a length of 25 metres, even larger sections of duct can be efficiently inspected and documented. This significantly supports maintenance and repair work.
