MEZ-PLAST 590 SMP is an elastic, fast-curing single-component sealant for HVAC applications, tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 846. Suitable for HVAC systems in accordance with VDI 6022 / EN 15780, kitchen exhaust air, as well as for grease exhaust air and clean rooms. With the EC 1 Plus classification, MEZ-PLAST SMP meets the highest requirements for sustainability in construction. Complies with DGNB 2018.

Properties:
- Fungicidal and bactericidal
- Non-corrosive
- Quick-curing, tack-free surface
- Free of silicone and isocyanate
- Very low shrinkage
- Good weather and aging resistance
- Solvent-free
Skin formation:
- Approx. 15–20 min.
Full cure:
- 3–4 mm on the 1st day
Application temperature:
- +5°C to +35°C
Temperature resistance:
- -40°C to +90°C
Shelf life:
- 12 months

- MEZ-PLAST 590 SMP contains no substances of very high concern in concentrations exceeding 0.1%
