REVISION IRD 32-3: Inspection access cover for insulated air ducts with clean sealing and quick accessibility

In insulated rectangular air ducts, inspection access determines maintenance effort, downtime, and hygiene. If there is no suitable opening or if the cover does not seal properly against the insulation, air leakage and heat losses may occur. The REVISION IRD 32-3 was specifically developed to provide standard-compliant access to insulated rectangular air ducts. It enables safe inspection even with soft, compressible insulation. At the same time, the integrated frame ensures a clean covering of the insulation edge, keeping the duct visually closed and technically airtight.

Thanks to its robust metal construction and high-quality EPDM seal, this inspection cover provides reliable sealing even under pressure loads up to ± 2,500 Pa. It is designed for insulation thicknesses of 30–40 mm and operates reliably at temperatures from -70 °C to +80 °C. This makes it ideal for applications in ventilation and building services engineering.
