The MEZ-LATZ M8 x 25 - galv. is a robust air duct clamp made of galvanized steel with a material thickness of 4.0 mm and double ribbing. This ensures high rigidity, secure clamping force and permanently airtight connections – specifically for Systems 30 & 40 and high-pressure systems. The pre-fitted M8 x 25 hexagon head screw speeds up installation without the need for pre-clamping or drilling. The maximum clamping force is 3.6 kN.

Compared to the 2.5–3.0 mm variants commonly found on the market, the 4 mm version offers additional safety margins. This is ideal for large duct cross-sections or demanding tightness classes.

When installing rectangular air ducts, three things matter: leak-tightness, stability and time. Particularly with large cross-sections and higher pressures, rework and leaks cost time and money. This is often exacerbated by duct clamps that are too weak or additional work steps such as pre-drilling.
