The MEZ-SYPHON-FLANGE 40/L, a air duct profile made of galvanized steel, prioritises airtightness. The integrated siphon design guides the sheet metal edge securely, acts as a sealing lip and prevents leaks right from the start. For projects with more stringent requirements, a version with injected sealant (MEZ‑Bluemastic‑GEL or Butyl-Mastic) is available – suitable for powder coating. Bar length 5,000 mm, material thickness 1.00 mm; pack size 500 m.

Leaks at frame joints cost energy, time and patience – particularly in airtight systems (ATC 2/3 or Classes C/D according to DIN EN 1507). A common cause: profiles without a defined sealing line and time-consuming re-sealing at the joint surface.
